Born and raised in Toronto Ontario, grew to learn and love all technology – he now has more than 30 years’ experience in both manufacturing and maintenance with both military and civilian sectors and on a wide variety of aircraft, based in mechanics and structures.
Over the years he has also raced and organized racing for motorcycles, snowmobiles, trucks and boats. These two components have driven Jay to become a technical and competitive problem solver known for getting the job done.
His consistent high performance, extensive experience and knowledge has led him to the company ATG is today.
Leading the charge to establish manpower and inspection programs; embodiment of major repair and conversion work including: winglets; stretch and cargo door conversions; lap joints, floor beams, engine beams and pressure bulkheads to name a few.
As an innovator he currently works with other technical companies and universities developing unique sustainable technology projects for various markets.
With ATG inception in 1999, this too was an innovation project with targeted focus to bring more accountability and value into the Aircraft Maintenance and manufacturing skilled labor market.
